The monetary value is no where near enough to make up for the pain and suffering for the rest of your life. (although we know no amount never will)
So: the money in question is almost worthless
But what is of value is your words; the ability to vent, share, cry about what happened, etc. But not if you take the money, you won’t even have that.

As a clinical educator and veterinary technician, it is the babies and animals that I worry so about. They are unable to speak, and say what is wrong. How is a parent or pet owner supposed to know if they are not medically trained!
