Loveland, CO – September 24, 2015: On Monday, September 14, 2015, Good Day Pharmacy Chief Operating Officer, Vicki Einhellig, RPh, was appointed to the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy by Gov. John Hickenlooper as he announced several Boards and Commissions appointments. Ms. Einhellig’s term on the board will run through July of 2019.
The Colorado State Board of Pharmacy serves under the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) to protect public health by promoting the highest standards of pharmacy practice through effective licensure and enforcement of regulations. In short, the Board examines applicants, holds disciplinary hearings to issue and revoke pharmaceutical licenses and inspects pharmacies.
“I am excited and flattered to be appointed to this professional board of dedicated people who want to set the highest of standards for the pharmacy industry in Colorado,” said Ms. Einhellig.
Good Day Pharmacy is an independent, family-owned company operating under the Health Mart umbrella with nine pharmacies in Northern Colorado, and employs 140 Colorado residents. Its principals are David Lamb, Vicki Einhellig, and Nancy Lamb. Collaboratively, all three owners serve on several organization boards: Rx Plus, Independent Pharmacy Cooperative, Independent Advisory Board, Poudre Valley Health System Ethics Board, Long Term Care Network, and local community associations. Good Day Pharmacy participates with the Wyoming Medication Drug Program (WMDP) which provides immediate prescription help and advice on lower-cost alternatives, and improves prescription access for Wyoming residents who cannot afford medications. Good Day also hosts internship programs and student rotations for pharmacy school students and pharmacy technicians. This year, Good Day Pharmacy celebrates its 30th year in business, providing community pharmacies for residents of Northern Colorado.

Third Leading Cause Of Death In The USA Is Medical Error —
Jake being allowed to suffer in extreme pain during the 1000 times the Clonidine overdose, at Poudre Valley Hospital and Children’s Hospital Colorado. These video footage clips are from the EEG monitor at Children’s Hospital Colorado. These painful, violent symptoms occurred at Poudre Valley Hospital, for approximately 8 hours prior to transport, October 31 and early November 1, 2015 and continued for 2 1/2 long days under the care of the staff at Poudre Valley Hospital and Children’s Hospital Colorado. All the medical professionals failed as mandatory reporters at Good Day Pharmacy and both hospitals, when a child arrived overdosed to their facilities. Both hospitals had the capability to have Good Day Pharmacy opened, but they waited until Monday… November 2, 2015 to find out what the compounding error was. All this time, with Jake’s mother begging them, to please call someone to help. They all refused my requests every minute of each hour, of each day. —

The nurse is so insensitive to scold a critically overdosed child, because he is unable to verbally express when he needs to urinate.

more-neurochc-dischargePage 2 and 5, of Jake’s medical record from Children’s Hospital Colorado. Jake’s discharge summary. As Jake’s  Mother, I questioned this. How could my son go home after brain swelling, and 1000 times a Clonidine overdose with absolutely no follow up care needed? They even had a young resident from neurology come in and tell me, “Well, if you want to we could see him in a month, but it is not necessary.” Children’s Hospital Colorado sent my son home, with no follow up blood work, no follow up neurology check, and not even a follow up visit with his primary care physician.

“Mom Shares Video Of Late Son Overdosing After Pharmacy Gave Wrong Prescription!”(Inside Edition News Report) Children’s Hospital Still has not given me the portion of EEG video where Jake woke up! Out of 3 days of video, they have only released about 3 hours of footage! — July 16, 2017

The single greatest moment of my life, was when Jake woke from the coma. Amy Clevenger has the nerve to tell me just hours before, my son would never be the same again. He may not even speak again! When Jake woke, I was holding him. He said, “Hi Mommy”. I was in heaven! The nurse asked him, what is your raccoons name? My beautiful boy as ill as he was, fired back and said, “IT IS NOT A RACCOON, IT IS A MEERKAT!” NOW MY READERS? QUESTION? HOW CAN CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL BE SO CRUEL NOT TO LET ME HAVE THAT PRICELESS MOMENT???!!! FROM A MEDICAL STAND POINT! YOU DO NOT DELETE THE MOMENT A CHILD WAKES FROM A COMA! FACT! THAT IS BAD MEDICINE! THEY HAVE THE FULL 3 DAYS OF EEG VIDEOS! THEY JUST DON’T WANT TO RELEASE IT. IT SHOWS ME, CLEARLY SAYING EVERY 5 MINUTES, “DID YOU CALL THE PHARMACY??!!”

Poudre Valley Hospital’s Epic Final Errors. No heparin to save my son’s life! No pain medication for 7 hours as my son died! —

Poudre Valley Hospital’s Epic Final Errors. No heparin to save my son’s life! No pain medication for 7 hours as my son died!

I did not know my son had been labeled a liability to treat by the insurance company because of the overdose, and the doctors would let him die! On June 7th 2016, I made a sick appointment with Jake’s pediatrician, Dr. David Ottolenghi for first thing in the morning . Jake’s pediatrician refused to touch Jake when he came in the room and said, “He could do nothing to treat Jake because my son had blood in his urine and might have a kidney infection”.  Dr. Ottolenghi instructed me to take Jake to Poudre Valley Hospital . As soon as we arrived at the emergency room, I asked that my son be given something for pain and nausea right away. My son was not given any pain relief for nearly 7 hours, and never given heparin! Jake was clotting platelets upon arrival and this clotting was confirmed with blood work. I kept asking the staff “Where are my son’s platelets going”!? At approximately 12:30pm, I asked the doctor to perform a manual differential and count the platelets. The test was run, and I was told there were clots all over the slide. Jake was NEVER given heparin to stop the clotting. Please remember, Jake died from DIC, a clotting event. Poudre Valley Hospital decided to send Jake by ground transportation (ambulance) to Children’s Hospital Colorado yet again. I demanded a better hospital be located for our critically ill son. A new higher quality hospital was secured within approximately 15 minutes. Poudre Valley Hospital’s staff did not see that Jake needed aggressive treatment now! PVH requested a bed on the pediatric floor. This request was denied by the new higher quality hospital, and they informed PVH, Jake needed to be transferred by “flight for life” directly to the pediatric intensive care unit immediately. BY THIS TIME IT WAS TOO LATE TO SAVE JAKE!

Question to my readers. Would you take the offer? Good Day Pharmacy wants to settle the claim on the pain, torture, and suffering of my beautiful little boy for $108,000. In exchange for this, I have to give up my freedom of speech. They do not want me to talk about the overdose again. Now Good Day has shut down negotiations because they will not settle the claim for even less than that. I represent myself now. I do not have a lawyer. So, to all the mothers and fathers. Would you sign away your right to tell people about the wrongful death of your child for $108,000? Comments are open. — June 25, 2017
